Not all disabilities are visible – this can include learning difficulties, visual or hearing impairments and mental health conditions. Non-visible disabilities can make life more demanding but it can be hard for people to identify or understand the challenges that people living with them experience.

That is why we have partnered with the Hidden Disabilities Sunflower scheme to provide a discreet way for those living with non-visible disabilities to indicate that they may need additional support or time.

Our staff are trained to recognise the sunflower lanyard and will be able to support you further in your queries and journeys with us.

Getting a sunflower lanyard is easy to do as they are available at our stations throughout the route or you can contact our customer relations team who will be able to send one through to you by post. The sunflower lanyard is free of charge so please do not hesitate to pick one up.
