West Horndon platform improvements

On Monday 20 December we started a programme of extensive platform repair works at West Horndon station. This includes a complete rebuild of the eastern section of the London-bound platform.
The first stage of work was successfully completed during the Christmas and New Year period. The project is expected to run until early February 2022.
