Please note that e-tickets are not available for travel on the c2c route.  However, we do sell these for travel on other train operators where e-tickets are accepted.

What is an e-ticket?

  • An e-ticket is a train ticket that is emailed directly to you or held in your mobile device in a mobile app, sometimes referred to as an m-ticket. The ticket includes a barcode that holds your ticket information, which is scanned to validate it for travel.

  1. Purchase your tickets online and select the e-ticket delivery option
  2. Open tickets from the email on your phone or print at home
  3. Scan in and out at the ticket gate to go through and start your journey.

How do I use an e-ticket on my mobile app (or m-ticket)?

  1. Purchase your tickets via the app and select the e-ticket delivery option
  2. Open tickets in your mobile app and when you are ready to travel, activate your e-ticket
  3. Scan in and out at the ticket gate to go through and start your journey.
