Trenitalia-owned train operator c2c is advising customers to plan ahead and be flexible with their travel plans over Christmas and New Year.
c2c Managing Director, Rob Mullen, said: “Most of our services will be running normally over the festive period to allow our customers to travel across the c2c route, but there will be earlier last train times on Christmas Eve and other timetable changes due to the bank holidays.
“We’re encouraging our customers to plan ahead, check before they travel and be flexible with their plans.”
c2c services: Week commencing 16 December
- Monday 16 to Friday 20 December: We will be running our current Monday-Friday timetable.
- Saturday 21 December: We will be running our usual Saturday service.
- Tuesday 24 December (Christmas Eve): Services will be finishing earlier than usual.
- Wednesday 25 December (Christmas Day): There are no c2c trains operating on Christmas Day.
- Thursday 26 December (Boxing Day): There are no c2c trains operating on Boxing Day.
- Friday 27 December and Saturday 28 December: We will be running our usual Saturday service to and from Fenchurch Street station.
- Sunday 29 December: We will be running our usual Sunday service to and from Fenchurch Street station.
- Monday 30 December: We will be running our usual Saturday service to and from Fenchurch Street station, with buses replacing trains between Laindon/Stanford-le-Hope and Leigh-on-Sea from 00:10-04:30 due to planned engineering works.
- Tuesday 31 December (New Year’s Eve): We will be running our usual Saturday service to and from Fenchurch Street station.
- Wednesday 1 January (New Year’s Day): We will running our usual Sunday Service to and from Fenchurch Street station.
