Customers can follow lots of Halloween-inspired sites, take the City of London self-guided walk, follow their own frightful path, or partake in a haunted pint or two; all within a 30-minute walk of Fenchurch Street station.

Mysterious tales on the trail include: A haunting in Cock Lane, adjacent to London’s Smithfield market, that became so famous Charles Dickens wrote about it, a ghostly figure sighted in St Botolph’s of Bishopsgate and Fred, the friendly ghost who roams the Viaduct Tavern in Newgate Street.

c2c’s Managing Director, Rob Mullen, said: “With half-term this week, this is the perfect time to check out some of the spooky points of interest in the City of London. Our creepy trail offers a fun day out for all the family, or a group of friends and customers can save money too by taking advantage of National Rail’s 2FOR1 vouchers for many spooky London attractions.”
