Feeling nostalgic for Christmas presents past? Visit our Time Tunnel to unwrap the gift of memory this winter! Explore your favourite classic and contemporary household packaging, toys, magazines, wartime ephemera, technology, travel, fashion and royal souvenirs. Take a stroll through everyday history and discover the remarkable tale of consumer society since Victorian times through the evolution of design, branding and packaging.

On your visit, explore AdWomen, our new exhibition in collaboration with the History of Advertising Trust, celebrating 100 years of women in advertising. Drawing inspiration from the acclaimed ‘Mad Women’ documentary, first aired on Channel 4 in May 2023, AdWomen celebrates the pioneering women who created groundbreaking TV ads that transformed the industry.

From 1 December to 2 January, kids are invited to discover brands through the decades with our series of educational and interactive festive activities including a family trail and colouring activity. Kids go free from Friday 20 December – Thursday 2 January with a paying visitor for general admission.
