FAQ connected to this ticket type

  1. 1. How do you calculate the credit I will receive for travelling off-peak? products-faq-angle-arrow.svg products-faq-angle-arrow-purple.svg

If on one of the days that you use a Flexi-Season ticket you only travel off-peak, we will credit the c2c online account linked to your Smartcard with an eVoucher worth 10% of the cost of that day’s travel. If you use your Flexi Season ticket on Saturday, Sunday or a Bank Holiday, your online account will be credited with the difference in price between the cost of that day’s Flexi Season ticket travel and that of a Weekend Off-Peak Day Return. We will then credit eVouchers to your account, approximately 10 days after the date of your journey. Please note: you must always tap in and tap out to receive this reward. As an example, if you bought a Flexi for £80, the cost for each day’s travel is £10. If you travel off-peak one day, you will therefore receive an eVoucher of £1. If you travel at the weekend, you will generally receive an eVoucher for £2.50 or more.
  2. 2. When are Off-Peak parking tickets valid? products-faq-angle-arrow.svg products-faq-angle-arrow-purple.svg

Off-Peak car park tickets are generally available from 10am and all weekend. Please check the station information section of this website for more information about off peak car park prices.
  3. 3. I want to book for a large group. Who do I contact and are there any discounts? products-faq-angle-arrow.svg products-faq-angle-arrow-purple.svg

Here at c2c, we welcome private bookings (10 or more people travelling together) from schools, companies, charities and organisations. If your group size is between three and nine people, book your tickets directly using ourGroupSave offer. Big groups of 10 or more people can make excellent savings on our Standard fare, with up to 33% off our Adult ticket price. Children under 16 can also travel for £2 or less on the c2c route (£2 promotional rate applies to bookings made at least 21 days in advance of the intended travel date). School group travel is particularly popular on our services – especially in the summer – and each year hundreds of schools choose to use us for their scheduled trips and breaks. We encourage you to book your trip with us as early as possible so we can help you book the train you want. The latest that group bookings can be taken and confirmed is ten working days before you wish to travel – and the whole group must travel together for the entire journey. For large groups (of 50 or more), we ask that travel is booked at least three weeks in advance; this gives us time to make arrangements to accommodate your group smoothly.
  4. 4. I’m travelling with a group; is there a discount? products-faq-angle-arrow.svg products-faq-angle-arrow-purple.svg

If you’re travelling in a group of 10 or more you can book your journey directly through our Group Bookings team. This will save you time and money as we offer a discounted rate when travelling together. To make a new enquiry please complete the online booking form below or if you have an existing booking please contact group.bookings@c2crail.net< If there are fewer than 10 people travelling, please book your tickets directly using our GroupSave offer. Large groups of 10 or more people can make excellent savings on our Standard fare, with up to 33% off our Adult ticket price. Children under 16 can also travel for £2 or less on the c2c route (£2 promotional rate applies to bookings made at least 21 days in advance of the intended travel date).
